How To Fish It

Clear Water / Bright Sun Start with smoke, pearl, shad, clear natural tones, bluegill-style colors, translucent flake, and subtle two-tone tails.

Stained Water / Clouds Move toward chartreuse, white, pink, blue, orange, stronger flake, or a second tail color for extra visibility.

Muddy Water / Low Light Use contrast. Red, orange, chartreuse, black, bright tails, and bold body/tail combinations help fish locate it faster.

Pressure / Cold Front Fish Back down to cleaner colors, slow the bait down, and use a subtle tail contrast instead of overpowering the presentation.
